LEARNING THE EXTRAS MY PARENTS KNEW

I just started blogging, again, and I figured there is nothing more interesting, than writing about what my parents taught me,as I was growing up,in a large family of 14 kids.Believe me,I learned how to stretch a dollar,by making repairs on my own,and knowing how to cook,at home.My dad was a jack of all trades, and that was a blessing in disguise, and my mother could cook a lot of  meals from scratch recipies,in bulk,of course.I am 60 years old,but I still remember a bunch of knowledgeable things I watched my parents do,to save money. My dad worked at Caterpillar Tractor, and my mother was a stay at home mom. When I look back on it all,I can say my parents really did a bang up job,and that is something I can be proud of.To read more.Go tohttp://www.knowledgefrommyparents.comI have many pages,of what I learned from my parents, that were not your ordinary parenting things to learn.PS: I have received 2 expert author awards, from EZINE ARTICLES,for 2 of my articles,at knowledgefrommyparents.I guess my parents also taught me how to write good articles!
